To see the true beauty of the Beloved, you must stop looking with your own subjective, limited vision and learn to see through the eyes of those who are already captivated by love.
This couplet is a direct instruction on the epistemology of love. Rumi has just established that perception is relative: what one person sees as poison, another sees as honey. Applying this to the spiritual path, he argues that our personal, unrefined perception (our "own eyes") is unreliable for seeing the true nature of the Divine Beloved.
