M2:1897 — ای مبارک ساعتی که دیدی‌ام / مرده بودم جان نو بخشیدی‌ام

This couplet captures the moment of profound gratitude and realization from the man who was unknowingly carrying a snake in his stomach. The emir, seeing the snake enter the sleeping man's mouth, had subjected him to a brutal beating and forced him to eat rotten apples, all to induce vomiting and expel the snake without waking him or causing panic. From the man's perspective, this was an inexplicable and cruel assault. He had cursed the emir, fled from him, and endured immense pain. But upon seeing the large, black snake emerge from his own mouth with the vomit, the entire terrifying ordeal suddenly made sense. He understands that the emir's 'cruelty' was, in fact, an act of immense compassion and life-saving intervention. His words, "I was dead, and you gave me new life," perfectly encapsulate this dramatic shift from utter despair and misunderstanding to overwhelming relief and gratitude.
