M6:1245 — نه دهنده نی پذیرندهٔ خوشی / نه درو معنی و نه معنی‌کشی

This beyt is part of a larger description of an 'old hag' (عجوز سال‌خورد) which Rumi uses as an allegory for the decrepit, spiritually barren state of the worldly self when it has aged without cultivating inner life.
