The tale of Sadr-e Jahan of Bukhara, from whose public charity any beggar who asked with his tongue was deprived. That learned dervish, in forgetfulness, excessive greed, and haste, asked with his tongue in Sadr-e Jahan's entourage. He turned away from him, and the dervish daily devised new tricks, sometimes disguising himself as a woman under a veil, and sometimes as a blind man with his eyes and face covered. But Sadr-e Jahan recognized him through his discernment, to the end.›
