M3:1182 — ناامیدانیم و اومیدی رسید / راندگانیم و کرم ما را کشید

This couplet is spoken by the two magicians, who have just been brought back from the dead by their sons to answer Pharaoh's question about Moses. They are addressing their sons, conveying the profound shift in their understanding. Before their death, they were servants of Pharaoh, practicing magic, and thus, in a spiritual sense, 'without hope' (ناامیدانیم) and 'outcasts' (راندگانیم) from divine truth. However, their encounter with Moses's miracle (which they now understand as divine, not magic) and their subsequent death and resurrection have given them a new perspective. They have been touched by 'grace' (کرم) that has drawn them in, offering them 'hope' (اومیدی) where there was none. This beyt marks their conversion and their recognition of Moses's prophethood, urging their sons to follow suit and prostrate themselves before this divine power.
