The King's meeting with the saint who was shown to him in his dream
- M1:94 دست بگشاد و کنارانش گرفتهمچو عشق اندر دل و جانش گرفت He opened his arms and took him in embrace,as Love itself seized his heart and his soul.This couplet describes the king's fervent embrace of the divine physician, an encounter so powerful it felt like being completely overtaken by Love. ❋
- M1:95 دست و پیشانیش بوسیدن گرفتوز مقام و راه پُرسیدن گرفت He began to kiss his hand and his forehead,And began to ask of his station and his way.This verse describes how the King, with profound reverence, welcomed the divine physician and eagerly inquired about his spiritual rank and path. ❋
- M1:96 پرسپرسان میکشیدش تا به صدرگفت گنجی یافتم آخر به صبر Asking, ever asking, he drew him to the seat of honor;'A treasure I have found,' he said, 'at last, through patience.'The king respectfully leads the long-awaited Divine Physician to the place of honor, joyfully declaring that this meeting is the precious reward for his enduring patience. ❋
- M1:97 گفت ای نور حَقُ و دفعِ حَرَجمعنی اَلصَّبْرُ مِفتاحُ الفرج He said, “O light of God, O cure for all distress,you are the meaning of ‘Patience is the key to release.’”Addressing the saint he has finally found, the king praises him as a divine light and the living embodiment of the proverb, “Patience is the key to relief.”
- M1:98 ای لقای تو جواب هر سؤالمشکل از تو حل شود بیقیلوقال O you, whose very presence answers every question,Through you, the problem is solved without argument or contention.The king tells the divine physician that his mere presence is a complete answer to all questions, resolving every difficulty without any need for discussion or debate. ❋
- M1:99 ترجمانی، هرچه ما را در دل استدستگیری، هر که پایش در گل است You are the translator of all that lies within our heart;You are the helper of everyone whose foot is stuck in mud.This verse describes the divine physician or perfect guide as one who not only interprets the hidden secrets of the heart but also extends aid to those caught in difficulty. ❋
- M1:100 مَرْحَبا یا مُجْتَبی یا مُرْتَضیإِنْ تَغِبْ جاءَ القَضَا ضَاقَ الفَضَا Welcome, O Chosen One, O Well-Pleased!If you are absent, doom descends, the world constricts.The King greets the divine physician with honorific titles, declaring that his presence brings relief and expansion, while his absence causes hardship and spiritual constriction. ❋
- M1:101 اَنتَ مَوْلَیالقَوْم مَنْ لا یَشْتَهِیقَدْ رَدَی کلّا لَئِنْ لَمْ یَنتَهِی You are the Master of the people; whoever does not desire thisHas surely perished—absolutely, if he does not desist.You are the spiritual guide for humanity, and anyone who rejects your authority and guidance is spiritually doomed if they persist in their denial. ❋
- M1:102 چون گذشت آن مجلس و خوانِ کرمدست او بگرفت و بُرد اندر حرم When that reception and bounteous feast were done,He took his hand and led him to the inner sanctum.After the formal public welcome, the King took the saint by the hand and brought him into his private chambers for a confidential meeting.
