M5:1876 — هر چه محبوبم کند من کرده‌ام / او منم من او چه گر در پرده‌ام

The second line, "He is me, I am He; what if I am veiled?" takes this identification to a mystical level. It suggests a unity of being, where the distinction between the two has dissolved. The 'veil' (parde) here refers to the outward appearance or the physical separation that might obscure this deeper spiritual oneness. It's a statement of absolute trust, love, and spiritual merging, where the beloved's will and actions are indistinguishable from the lover's own, and any perceived difference is merely superficial.
