Experiential perception, such as choice and compulsion, anger and patience, satiety and hunger, is like sense perception in distinguishing yellow from red, small from large, bitter from sweet, musk from dung, rough from soft by touch, and hot from cold, burning from warm milk, wet from dry, and the feel of a wall from the feel of a tree. Therefore, one who denies experiential perception denies sense perception, and more so, because experiential perception is clearer than sense perception, for sense perception can be closed and prevented from sensing, but it is not possible to close off the path and access of experiential matters.
