M1:2441 — باز بر زن جاهلان چیره شوند / زانک ایشان تند و بس خیره روند

此詩節是魯米對一句聖訓的闡釋：「女人能征服智者，而愚者反能征服女人。」前一節詩說，有智慧、有愛心的男人，因其溫柔與憐憫，反而會被女人的情感力量所「征服」。

They lack the 'tenderness, grace, and affection' (رقت و لطف و وداد) that are the hallmarks of humanity, as their animalistic nature (حیوانیست غالب بر نهاد) dominates their being. Thus, their interactions are not based on mutual understanding or emotional connection, but on brute force and an unyielding will, allowing them to 'prevail' in a way that is not a testament to their wisdom, but to their lack of refinement and empathy. This highlights Rumi's nuanced view of human relationships, distinguishing between interactions guided by wisdom and sensitivity versus those driven by crude, unthinking dominance.
